So, last night was the final night that the Clay County Fair was in town. I was invited by a few friends and ended up getting a free ticket (thanks Chase), so I decided to go. I did not expect what happened next.First, the group was supposed to meet up at a well-known store parking lot so we could carpool. Chase and I pull up at about the same time Ashley and Caleb (brother and sister) do. The siblings are having a full-fledged fight. Caleb spilled an entire 42oz. cup of Mountain Dew in Ashley's vehicle and blamed her for it. It was pretty epic.
We wait about another 10 minutes for everyone to show up, then we roll out.
Once at the fair, we start walking around, looking at all the mullets and fair people trying to get people to play their games. I got straight hustled by a carnie. The game was to bounce a ball into a basket. Simple, right? It
was the most frustrating thing on this earth. All for a sweet Florida Gator jacket. 20 dolars later, and no jacket, we decided to move to some of the rides. The group that like to ride the rides (pretty much everyone except myself and Hannah, she got a wristband later) got on the ride called Fireball. I had a bet with the guys saying that if they could keep their hats on throughout the ride, they get major cred. They both did, even though Caleb cheated.

There was this Casino-themed ride that was interesting to watch. You get in this car and your moving through a loop while it barrel rolls. Hardcore.
Next we walked over to the dunk tank with this creepy clown smoking a cigarette, hurling insults at people that walk by. We stop for a few minutes and this "Joker"ish clown makes a statement about this dude and how he looked like a used q-tip. Hilarious.
There was this crazy ride called the Extreme or something like that. There was such a long line that they decided to ride The Tornado. Another competition arose between two groups to see who could spin the fastest. Chase, Ashley, Chris and Caleb were the winners, but it almost did them in. I laughed.
The quesey wanted to take it easy, so they headed to the Ferris Wheel. I got bored, so I took these.
The ride next to the the Wheel I can't remember the name, but I know it would have given epileptics seizures. It spins you around while lights flash. It got the best of Chase. He owes all of us drinks from Sonic. The last ride I saw them ride was the spinning swings. It looked like fun, but I seriously thought that Chris was going to fly off this thing. He was spinning around and it look just flat out dangerous.
Chris was focused to dunking the clown at the dunk tank. So we went back to it. There was a much larger crowd out there the second time around and the clown still had his cigarette. Chris had a total of 7 balls, he dunked him on the 5th. The clown hit the water, but his cigarette didn't. Well played, clown. Well played.
At this point, my phone was being completely blown up by some of my friends. Laura and Stef were at Stef's house, and Briana and Erin were at Bri. So, I peaced out from the Fair and headed to Stefs. We sat at and chilled. Got to see two of my close friends and we witnessed a sweet comeback from Boston College's hockey team. I had to stop at Bri's so I left and headed over.
Getting to Briana's house, we talked and laughed about different situations we were dealing with.

Overall, last night was greatness on all levels.
